APS Labs (“we,” “our,” or “us”) built CalcClash as a math quiz and game application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and handle information when you use CalcClash (the “App”).
By using CalcClash, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
CalcClash collects limited gameplay and app usage data to provide game progress, leaderboards, events, ads, analytics, and app update features. Data is handled in three ways:
• Stored locally on your device for offline gameplay and settings
• Sent to Supabase for leaderboards, remote configuration, and events
• Shared with third-party services (Firebase Analytics, Google AdMob) for analytics and advertising
CalcClash stores certain data locally on your device so the app functions offline and remembers your progress. This data never leaves your device except where explicitly stated:
• Username / player name
• Coins / wallet balance
• Game scores and best score
• Level and XP
• Streak data
• Daily spin usage and revive count
• Theme, sound, music, and vibration settings
• Streak reminder on/off preference
• Cached remote configuration from Supabase (ads, events, app updates)
This locally stored data is used for offline gameplay, restoring player progress, daily spin eligibility, streak tracking, and local app settings.
CalcClash uses Supabase as its backend service for features that require a server, such as leaderboards and remote configuration.
• Username
• Leaderboard score and game mode score entries
• Remote configuration for ads, spins, events, and app updates
• App info, social links, and privacy policy URL
• Global leaderboard and player scores
• Ad configuration (banner and rewarded ad settings and unit IDs)
• Spin and event configuration (free spins, bonus rewards, double XP/coins)
• App version checks and update prompts (force or soft update)
• App information and social media links
Supabase stores data on secure servers. For more information, please see the
Supabase Privacy Policy: https://supabase.com/privacy
CalcClash uses Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to understand how users interact with the app and to improve gameplay and features.
• Session start and end
• Game started, completed, or failed
• Questions answered
• Spin used and spin reward received
• Revive watched or skipped
• Rewarded ad completed
• Banner or event seen and dismissed
• Update prompt shown, accepted, or dismissed
• App version viewed
• App interactions and engagement metrics
• Device and app information (OS version, app version, device model)
• Approximate usage statistics
• Crash and diagnostic signals depending on Google services behavior
No Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications) is configured in CalcClash version 1. For more information:

CalcClash uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Ad types used include:
• Banner ads displayed on the home screen
• Rewarded ads for spin rewards (optional — only shown when you tap the rewarded ad button)
• Rewarded ads for the revive mechanic (optional — only shown when you choose to revive)
Ad unit IDs are fetched from Supabase remote configuration. If the device is offline, cached configuration may be used. If remote configuration disables ads, no ads will be shown.
• Device identifiers and advertising ID (where available)
• Ad interactions (views, clicks)
• Approximate location
• App activity
• Diagnostic information
AdMob data collection is governed by Google’s policies. For more information:

CalcClash version 1 uses local notifications only for streak reminders. These are notifications scheduled directly on your device to remind you to play before your streak expires.
• No cloud push notifications are used in version 1
• No Firebase Cloud Messaging is active
• You can turn off streak reminders at any time from the app’s Settings screen
• Turning off streak reminders cancels all scheduled local reminders
• Android notification permissions are also controlled by your device system settings
CalcClash requests the following Android permissions:
• INTERNET — Required for backend communication (Supabase), ads (AdMob), and analytics (Firebase)
• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — Used to detect network connectivity and handle offline behavior
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Required to send local streak reminder notifications
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — Used to restore scheduled local streak reminders after device restarts
• VIBRATE — Used for haptic feedback during gameplay
CalcClash does not request permissions for camera, microphone, contacts, precise GPS location, or storage access.
We do not sell your personal data. Data may be shared with the following third-party service providers for the purposes described in this policy:
• Supabase — leaderboard storage, remote configuration, event management
• Firebase / Google Analytics — app usage analytics
• Google AdMob — advertising and ad measurement
We do not intentionally collect or share sensitive personal information such as camera data, microphone data, contact lists, or precise GPS location.
You have the following controls within CalcClash:
• Change your username at any time
• Toggle sound, music, and vibration on or off in Settings
• Turn streak reminders on or off in Settings
• Use the app offline for many features without sending data externally
• Opt out of rewarded ads by simply not tapping rewarded ad buttons
You may also control advertising preferences through your device’s advertising settings (e.g., resetting or limiting the Advertising ID on Android).
CalcClash is a general-audience math game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the app, please contact us at the address below and we will take steps to delete such information.
Local data stored on your device is retained until you uninstall the app or clear app data through your device settings. Leaderboard scores submitted to Supabase are retained to maintain the global leaderboard. Firebase Analytics data is subject to Google’s standard retention policies.
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle. Supabase provides server-side security, and data transmitted between the app and Supabase is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document. For significant changes, we may notify you via an in-app prompt. Continued use of CalcClash after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
