Effective Date:2026.05.11
Welcome to CalcBill (the “App”). We understand the importance of your personal information and are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the App. Please read this policy carefully before using the App. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this policy.
Your accounting data belongs to you and is stored only locally on your device. We do not collect, upload, or access any of your accounting content.
If you have any questions, comments, or complaints regarding this Privacy Policy or your personal information, please contact us at:
Email: qinhuiling19661222@outlook.com
We will respond to your inquiries within 15 business days of receipt.
2.1 Accounting Data
All data you enter when using the App‘s core accounting features (amounts, categories, notes, dates, images, etc.) are stored exclusively and locally on your device. We do not collect, upload, store, or access any of this accounting content in any manner.
2.2 Device Information & Analytics Data
To improve the stability, performance, and user experience of the App, we use third-party analytics tools to collect anonymous device information and usage data. This data cannot directly identify you as an individual. The information collected includes but is not limited to:
Device model (e.g., iPhone 14, iPhone 16)
Operating system version
App version number
Crash logs
Basic usage events (e.g., app launch, feature use, error occurrence)
Anonymous device identifier (e.g., IDFV, which does not include IDFA)
We do not link your accounting data to these analytics data.
2.3 Local Permission Data (Used Only Locally)
The App requests the following permissions. All related data is processed only locally on your device and is not uploaded to any server:
Notification Permission: Used to send local reminders (e.g., bill reminders, budget alerts). We do not push any commercial advertisements via notifications.
Calendar Write Permission: Used only when you actively use the “sync bill to calendar” feature. We write the bill entries you select (due date, amount, etc.) to your system calendar. We do not read any existing events in your calendar, nor do we upload any calendar data to any server.
You can enable or disable any of the above permissions at any time in your device‘s Settings. Disabling permissions will not affect the core accounting functions of the App.
We do not sell, trade, or transfer any of your data to any third party (analytics data is processed solely by the analytics tool in accordance with its privacy agreement and not used for other purposes).
We may engage trusted third-party companies or individuals to assist us in operating our Services, such as cloud service providers (for processing AI summarization you request) and crash analytics services. These service providers only access information necessary to perform their tasks and are contractually bound not to use it for any other purpose.
Accounting data: Stored only locally on your device, retained until you delete it or uninstall the App.
Analytics data: Stored by third-party analytics services according to their data retention policies (typically up to 90 days), anonymized and non-retroactive to you.
Calendar data: Once written, it is managed by the system calendar. The App does not retain an additional copy.
Because the App has no user account, the following rights can be exercised through local device operations:
Access / Correct / Delete accounting data: Edit or delete entries directly in CalcBill; to delete all data, uninstall the App.
Withdraw permission consent: Turn off notification or calendar permissions in device Settings.
Opt-out of analytics data collection: Go to device Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, and disable “Share iPhone Analytics”. (Some SDKs respect this setting.)
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users of any age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us.
We use industry-standard measures (e.g., HTTPS) to protect analytics data in transit. However, because all accounting data resides solely on your device, its security depends primarily on your device protection (e.g., passcode, system updates).
Analytics services may transfer anonymous data to the country where the provider is located (e.g., the United States). Such transfers comply with applicable legal requirements (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses).
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via in-app notice. Please review periodically.
The formation, execution, interpretation, and dispute resolution of this Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of the People‘s Republic of China.
