This day marks a simple yet joyful celebration of Teacher's Day. It's a day where we students wholeheartedly express gratitude to our hardworking teachers. Our class showed our appreciation to our class adviser, Ma'am Lenita Margate, by surprising her with a heartfelt gesture and presenting her with a cake and flowers. This has truly become memorable, not only for us but also for our adviser. We decided to end the surprise by taking a class picture with Ma'am and the gifts she received.
On Valentine’s Day, our school transformed into a vibrant tapestry of colors, each shade telling a different story of heart and connection. Embracing a unique tradition, every pupil dressed in a color representing their relationship status, turning the day into a visual festival of personal expressions.
Red was worn by those deeply in love, pink by those who harbored crushes, and white by the proud singles. Meanwhile, green was the choice for those who considered it complicated, creating a colorful mosaic of emotions and statuses throughout the school.
The day was filled with activities that celebrated love and friendship. There were flowers and gift exchanges, Teachers and students alike shared some stories about the meanings behind their chosen colors, fostering an atmosphere of openness and camaraderie.
As the day continuous, the entire class gathered for a group photo. This wasn't just any picture; it was a snapshot of our community in all its diversity and warmth. Each color not only signified a personal love story but also blended into a collective celebration of unity and respect for each other's journeys.
Valentine's Day at our school was more than just a day for the romantically involved; it was a celebration of all forms of love and a lesson in empathy and acceptance, beautifully captured in our class picture.
PE Performance Task - Dance Presentation
"When every move tells a story of victory"
The day of the big performance dance in PE arrived, and anticipation ran high as we had practiced hard for it. It wasn't a competition but rather a graded performance for each section. Despite the non-competitive nature, nerves were running wild among us. However, when the moment arrived, we executed the dance flawlessly, showcasing our hard work and dedication.
After we finished the dance, there was a huge wave of relief and excitement for us all. We all gathered for a group photo with Sir Jay-Ar, our PE teacher. But before the event started, there was a bit of chaos some of us had been running late to the event, stressing us out that we wouldn't make it in time for the scheduled performance. In the end, we made it just in the nick of time. This event is something we'll always hold dear, not just because of the dance, but because of the memories we've made and the friendships we've built.
Reflecting on the event, it's surely that it was more than just a dance performance, it was a peak of memories and bonds we've made throughout our Senior high school journey. It's moments like these that we'll cherish as we move forward into the next chapter of our lives. This event has become a core memory for all of us, knowing it was our last big performance together, but also feeling so proud of what we'd accomplished as a team.
AQUATICS
"Creating memories together that will last a lifetime"
A school swimming program provides more than just physical training. It's a holistic experience that nurtures the body, mind, and spirit, leaving participants feeling refreshed, productive, and connected. This event at Tanauan City Integrated High School is on swimming applications in the context of physical education. This is an activity in which we students learn how to perform various types of strokes in a real swimming pool. Moreover, swimming is one of the most effective workouts for reducing tension and strain in the body. It is a type of water movement that involves propelling oneself forward with one's arms and legs in unison. Aquatics is a leisure and competitive sport that employs a variety of strokes and techniques.
This aquatics event efficiently taught students the proper way to swim. With the assistance of instructors, some students were able to implement the basic strokes of swimming. Swimming, however, can bring physical problems. Pushing through tiredness, conquering a fear of deep water, or learning advanced techniques may be both exciting and intimidating. However, with determination, students were able to overcome the hurdles. Furthermore, swimming not only promotes physical fitness but also exposes students to more people, allowing them to effortlessly socialize with their peers. Overall, there is a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment in knowing that the time spent in the pool was not only for physical fitness, but also for mental well-being and social bonding.
