Policies and Cancellations

CakedByNKBeauty Policies

Booking and Cancellations:

• There is a non-refundable $25 Deposit fee upon booking which will be required to secure your appointment. The fee will be deducted from the total cost of service. Payment of the deposit will be made through the booking website or EMT (NanaKayMua@Gmail.Com)

• Cancellations or rescheduling should be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid additional charges

• In the event of a cancellation by CakedByNKBeauty, a full refund will be provided.

• There is a 10 minute grace-period after 20 minutes there is a $20 late fee and after 30 minutes your appointment will be canceled 

• Please NO EXTRA VISITORS!

Client Duties:

• Clients should inform CakedByNKBeauty of any allergies, sensitivities, or skin conditions prior to the appointment.

• Please arrive with  a clean and moisturized face, free of any makeup or skin care products.

• Please remove any excess hair (facial hair) and come with groomed eyebrows  if not possible there will be a $10 charge to remove facial hair, or to shape/groom eyebrows

• Clients cannot park in the driveway, please park on the roadside.

Hygiene and Sanitation:

•  All products and tools are sanitized and kept in a clean hygienic condition.

• Disposable applicators and brushes are used whenever possible.

• Makeup artists will maintain personal hygiene and arrive with clean hands and attire.

Trial Sessions:

• Trial sessions are highly recommended before weddings or special events to discuss and finalize the desired makeup look

• Trial Fees may apply and are separate from the actual makeup service

Payment:

• Full payment should be made on the day of the appointment, unless prior arrangements have been made.

• Accepted forms of payment should be communicated in advance ( Cash, Email transfer with GST/HST)

Photography and Social Media:

• CakedByNKBeauty may request to take before and after photos of the makeup application to add to a portfolio AND promotional purposes.

• Clients have the right to refuse or request that their photos may not be used.

Mobile/Travel Services

** CakedByNKBeauty’s Mobile services are available within Durham and The GTA

Durham region such as Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, Oshawa fee of $25-40+

Outside of Durham Region (GTA) prices will vary depending on location as it is $75+

• Clients are expected to provide a clean and well-lit area for the Makeup Session

• Please ensure that there is a nearby wall plug available for our equipment during the Makeup Session

• Kindly have a chair available for both Myself and Clients to ensure that we both have a Comfortable Makeup Session
