About me
About me
I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2011 from Trinity College Dublin and I am also a primary school teacher. I take a play-based, child-centred and holistic approach to Speech and Language Therapy. I believe in working closely with families and taking the time to understand each child’s individual strengths, needs and interests.
I also believe it is important to consider the child’s wider context, including how they communicate and participate at home, in preschool and at school. Where appropriate, I work collaboratively with parents and educational staff to support children’s communication across their everyday environments.
My aim is to make therapy engaging, practical and meaningful for each child and their family.
