Professional Goals
Upon reflection of my professional goals set in my first-year self-evaluation, I believe I effectively demonstrated my commitment to growth through meeting the outlined goals in teaching, scholarship, and service. I took on the additional leadership role of Program Coordinator for the M.S.Ed. Elementary and Secondary Education programs in the College of Education, increased my peer-reviewed publications adding two more published articles and several submitted and accepted manuscripts, received an internal Strategic Initiative Grant from the Provost’s Office and was included on two external National Science Foundation (NSF) grants.
I am confident that my portfolio highlights my effective teaching, scholarship, and service to Niagara University, the College of Education, and the field of teacher education. In conclusion to my pre tenure self-evaluation, I prepared several goals in preparation for my tenure review:
Present at international forms outside of North America.
Increase peer reviewed publications and investigate book-chapter opportunities.
Investigate and pursue research and travel grant opportunities that work to increase NUs international presence.
Grow Niagara University Club Figure Skating (NUCFS) as a pathway to engage with our undergraduate students meet an institutional goal of utilizing campus resources (ice rink) brought forth by the University President.
I look forward to the coming years as a member of the Niagara University community.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
