It is with pleasure that I, Caitlin Riegel, submit this self-evaluation for my pre-tenure review. Having been involved in the Niagara University community since 2009, I am consistently reminded of the honor it is to be engaged in the exceptional and positive higher education atmosphere that characterizes NU. As an Assistant Professor, I work to align my teaching with the College of Education’s values focusing on preparing leaders in the educational profession. Additionally, my scholarship is aligned with the University’s strategic goals founded on interdisciplinary approaches to learning, and my service supports the Vincentian Mission. My supporting portfolio evidence, outlined in the table of contents provided under Additional Materials, is organized according to the criteria listed in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between Niagara University and the Niagara University Lay Teachers Association to address the areas of teaching, scholarship, and service.
