What are the details of these trips?
There will be two day-trips, a day for each site. The sites include UW-Madison's campus and Aztalan State Park, each located roughly two hours and twenty minutes from Green Bay. These trips are headed by UW-Green Bay staff and aim to educate individuals on the connections between Madison, Aztalan and the ancient city of Cahokia.
Who can come on these trips?
Anyone! This trip is headed by staff from UW-Green Bay but is open to students, facility and community members alike.
When will these trips be?
The Aztalan trip will be November 19th. Stay tuned to announcements from UW-Green Bay's First Nations Studies Department to find out more.
What would transportation consist of?
Transportation will consist of rented vehicles.
Do I have to go on both trips?
While it is encouraged for individuals to go on both trips, it is not mandatory. Participating in one of the two trips is welcome.
