Hi! My name is Justice Beverly! Although I've lived in North Carolina most of my life, I claim Tappahannock, Virginia, as home. I am a junior at East Carolina University, majoring in psychology and have completed my minor in Composite Natural Science. After graduating from ECU, I have the intention of returning to ECU to obtain my teaching licensure with emphasis in Science 9-12.
I took the Research Methods in Psychology course during the Fall 2021 semester at ECU. During the course, one of the major assignments was a miniature study on a topic of my choosing. I chose to examine the correlational relationship between caffeine use and anxiety symptoms. I found that I had a personal connection to this study given that I am a self-admitted caffeine addict. I really enjoyed doing this study and learning more about caffeine's effects on the human mind.
