Artist Statement:
Through many different experiences you deal with emotion and the natural human conditions. Within my work I explore those conditions rather than the many different emotions we as humans may endure. I create feelings through the craft and process of drawing or painting a composition, with portraits being the main concept, to where I envision myself as the subject and let the audience become curious or reactive. To evoke a reaction is what I'm most interested in because it shows what we do naturally and how we are able to gravitate towards the things that we are most attracted to (this can be texture or colors). Each brushstroke and each line holds the weight of thought and time from the artist. Through the process of creating and improving my work further I write down my thoughts and ideas of anything that comes to mind and with my writing it leads me to discover why I draw and paint certain things. In a sense. I am also diving into my own feelings and exploration the void with myself, but through the minds of others. Instagram: @khxkreat
