Artist Statement:     

Feeling lost everywhere I reside, I search for the sensation of home, of belonging, which has become unknown and foreign over time, merely distant memories. The places I’ve lived have absorbed the light inside me, I’ve been consumed and almost become a part of the darkness, the uncertainty, the paranoia that surrounds me. I’ve been lost for a long time, constantly forced into transformations, leaving myself unrecognizable. I no longer know what I am searching for; it’s eternally shifting. I navigate in solitude within buildings, labyrinths, and pathways resembling remnants of places I’ve lived, through dense voids of black. As I transition from place to place, the journey is tumultuous and full of loss. There is no end in sight but I persevere, searching for the inviting glows of light within the darkness. The chaotic and unpredictable nature of stone lithography allows me to reflect on the unknown and discover beauty hidden within layers of disorder. The graininess of the medium hums with noise, while the voids of black hold a consuming silence.
