Whether it's an alliance within the FilAm community to inter-community alliances that go beyond our borders, CAFA Utah is here to represent, promote and unite with individuals and organizations for collective impact.

CAFA Utah hopes to empower our seniors and for them to engage with the FilAm community in Utah. 

We serve to take care of their well-being and give them opportunities to continue to live a full life here in Utah.

Civic engagement, representation, voice, influence on policies and social change, protection of rights, and diversity of perspectives are just few reasons why the FilAm community in Utah needs to take an active participation in local, state and national elections both in the Philippines through mail-in ballot initiatives, and here in the US.

Young people are the future leaders, and contributors to society. Investing in their development ensures a succession of leadership in the future for the Filipino American community in Utah.

Youth development is not only important for the young Filipino Americans themselves but also for the well-being of our FilAm community and the societies at large. When young people are given the necessary support and opportunities, they become engaged members of society.

Preservation of our Filipino heritage, traditions, and customs are vital to CAFA Utah's existence here in Utah. CAFA Utah will work with cultural groups and organization to help ensure that the unique aspects of our culture are passed down to future generations, and to foster a sense of identity and belonging, for our children who are born and/or raised here in the US to be able to connect with their roots, enhancing their understanding of who they are and where they come from.

Serving veterans is a noble and important endeavor for several reasons, rooted in gratitude, respect, and a sense of duty toward those who have served in the military.

It is a way of upholding values, expressing gratitude, and ensuring the well-being of individuals who have dedicated themselves to the service of their country.

CAFA Utah hopes to be established as the go-to FilAm organization to plan and execute emergency preparedness, communication and response initiatives for the FilAm community. 

When the state of Utah is hit with calamities and disasters, CAFA Utah will ensure that every Filipino Americans in the state has a place of refuge and has a way to get help. As an active and thriving FilAm community in Utah, we are bonded and committed to help each and every Filipino American in Utah.

A FilAm cultural center in Utah that serves as a focal point for the promotion, preservation, and celebration of various aspects of the FilAm culture as well as for education and learning, performances and multicultural exchange. The center will aim to provide a space where people can engage with and explore cultural activities, events, traditions, arts, and heritage.

This is a lofty goal and it will take the support and cooperation of the entire FilAm community for this dream to become reality.
