The Community Alliance of Filipino Americans of Utah (CAFA Utah) is founded to foster a collaborative effort and partnership among individuals, groups, or organizations within the Filipino American community in Utah to achieve common goals.

1. Strength in Numbers: By coming together, CAFA Utah and its alliances pool resources, expertise, and influence, creating a more powerful and effective force to serve, address issues or advocate for change for the FilAm community in Utah.

2. Collective Impact: we aim to achieve a collective impact! By coordinating efforts, CAFA Utah and our alliances will work together to serve, promote and represent the FilAm community in Utah.

3. Shared Resources: we form alliances to share resources such as people, funding, knowledge & expertise, capabilities, and facilities. This collaboration lead to access to resources for greater achievements.

4. Networking and Collaboration: we are the platform that encourages communication and cooperation among FilAm community members and groups, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.

5. Addressing Common Concerns: we form alliances to be united in addressing specific concerns or challenges that affect Filipino Americans in Utah. 

6. Advocacy: we engage in advocacy efforts to influence policies and decisions at local, regional, or national levels. By speaking with a unified voice, CAFA Utah and its alliances have a greater impact in the state of Utah and throughout the US.

7. Building Community Resilience: working together contribute to the overall resilience of the Filipino American community in Utah. By sharing knowledge and resources, our FilAm community can better prepare for and respond to various challenges and crises.

8. Promoting Inclusivity: we strive to be inclusive, bringing together Filipino Americans regardless of background, age, gender, religion and status in life. Our FilAm seniors and our youth are as important to us.

9. Long-Term Sustainability: we form effective alliances with FilAm individuals and groups which we believe contribute to the long-term sustainability of community initiatives. The shared responsibility and commitment of us and our alliances can help ensure that efforts are sustained over time.

CAFA Utah will play a crucial role in fostering cooperation, addressing shared challenges, and working towards the betterment of our Filipino American community in Utah as a whole. That's our promise!
