PUPFMAAI Officers and Alumni organized writing and leadership orientation for the new Editorial Board of the Luminary (the official student publication of Junior Financial Executives - PUP last June 7, 2024. This event is in coordination with PUP Department of Financial Management and The Luminary.
The event headed by the association's president, Gem Galupar, was conducted onsite at AVR of 5th floor of East Wing, PUP Main Campus in Manila, which was also attended by more than 150 BSBA FM Students.

Representatives from DFM led by its Chairperson, Dr Ria S. Fajilago huddled a preliminary meeting for potential partnership with one of the country's largest banks, Security Bank.
The meeting was attended by officers of Security Bank, PUP Internal Audit Director and DFM Faculty, Realin Aranza, former DFM Chairperson Bernadette Panibio, and another DFM Faculty, Dr. Henry Prudente, who also the PUP Chief of Extension and Community Linkages.

DFM Faculty led by its Chairperson, Dr. Ria S Fajilago, made an intial meeting with Finance Educator Association (Fin.Ed) on June 3 to 4, 2024 to talk about the upcoming National Fin.Ed and PUP Collaboration Conference.
Altogether with Prof. Realin C. Aranza, Dr. Henry B. Prudente, Dr. Allan A. Calderon, Prof. Melvin Jason S. De Vera, Prof. Bernadette M. Panibio along with Fin.Ed officers, they have conducted ocular visit at the prospective venue, Magarra Hotel in Orani Bataan.

PUP Department of Financial Management partners with Center for Teaching and Learning Development of PUP University Teaching and Learning Development Office (UTLDO), in conducting tutorial services for BSBA Financial Management students.
This activity is an initiative of our Chairperson, Dr. Ria S. Fajilago, which aims to present DFM exemplar faculty by sharing their experiences and wisdom as a teacher and practitioner of Financial Management discipline.
It focuses on finance educator as a career which showcases the exemplar's journey as a teacher. This meaningful webinar series provides venue to encourage BSBA FM students as well, that after graduation, they can find career in the academe.
The pilot tutorial service was held last April 2023 by Prof. Rolly Fernandez. It was attended by more than 350 BSBA FM students taking up OJT and Practicum subject.
To date, DFM has successfully conducted 9 more tutorial services led by DFM faculty like Dr. Henry Prudente , Dr. Bryan de Castro, Prof. Realin Aranza , Prof. Gem B. Galupar, Dr. Allan Calderon, Prof. Melvin Jason De Vera, Prof. Daren Cortez, Prof. Bernadette Panibio, and just last week, Dr. Mark Sangil.

The tutorial series, partnered together by DFM and PUP University Teaching and Learning Development Office has finally ended. One of its last speaker is Atty. Caroline Terrado, a DFM Faculty, who shared her journey as a teacher in the Exemplar Faculty segment.
