I am a Ph.D. student in Biobehavioral Health (BBH) at The Pennsylvania State University. I am a member of the Mechanisms of Emotion, Stress, and Health (MESH) lab (BBH; PI: Jennifer Graham-Engeland) and the Laboratory of Developmental Neuroscience (Psychology; PI: Suzy Scherf). My research seeks to illuminate how the visceral body, as well as the ability to sense and make sense of it (i.e., interoception), shapes adolescent socioemotional experiences.
I received my B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Northridge, focusing on quantitative methods, developmental psychopathology, emotion, and early adversity. I also have a background in Developmental Affective/Clinical Neuroscience.
