At FaithCounter, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our mobile application.
1. Information Collection and Use
We collect minimal data to provide a seamless spiritual experience.
Firebase Realtime Database: We collect anonymous global completion counts for each religion. This data is not linked to your personal identity.
Local Storage (Hive): Your recitation progress is stored locally on your device for offline access. We do not have access to your local counting sessions.
Device Information: We may collect non-personal information such as device model, OS version, and connectivity status through Google Firebase to improve app stability.
2. Third-Party Services
Our app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:
Google Play Services: Used for app functionality and updates.
Google AdMob: We use AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect your advertising ID and usage data to show relevant ads. You can manage ad personalization in your Google device settings.
Firebase Realtime Database: Used for synchronizing global counts.
3. Log Data
In case of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our service, the time and date of your use of the service, and other statistics.
4. Permissions
FaithCounter may request the following permissions:
Internet Access: Required to sync your global completions with our database and load advertisements.
Vibration/Haptics: Used to provide tactile feedback during counting sessions.
Background Tasks: Used for updating home screen widgets.
5. Data Security
We value your trust in providing us with your information. We strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
6. Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
