Performing Arts Night

Pastor James D. Parker, Jr. and David Rawson explain in depth about Performing Arts Night, which happens on Saturday, May 25th right after banquet during 2024 CA Deaf State Rally. For more information on how your church group can participate, you can ask your pastor/leader as they have received details.

The performing arts (talent show) night is on Saturday, May 25th and please share this important information with your congregation. We’re doing something new this time -- a "Biblical trivia" (guessing) game show. For example if your church is assigned John 3:16, then your church group will perform (do a song, dance, mime/dramatic expression, etc.) according to the Scripture for no more than five (5) minutes. The assigned Scripture verse cannot be shared with anyone else (keep it to your group and do NOT share with anyone else outside your church)!
When all church groups get their chance to perform, there will be a powerpoint slide set to ask the audience which scripture was shown in that performance. The audience will have to guess which Scripture correctly matches the performance. This is not a competition and no prizes will be awarded. We are doing this all for the glory of God!
