Two types of paper are acceptable for the conference. First type of regular paper manuscripts are suggested to be no more than 6 pages in total length. Second type pf high quality one-page Presentation-only position papers are also welcomed. Papers submitted should be written in English. All submissions must be prepared electronically in PDF format via the conference website. The official language of the conference is English. All the accepted regular papers would be officially submitted to IEEE Xplore® and be EI-indexed, while the accepted position papers would be ONLY included in the conference proceeding.

All papers should be submitted electronically in PDF format through the Paper Submission System.
The CACS 2023 accepts either type of submissions, regular paper or position paper, for review. Both types of papers should be written in English, and would be included in the conference proceeding.
Full papers (6-8 pages with conference official format) must be submitted for review. To encourage diverse motivation of paper submissions, authors of the submissions could have an option to select whether they want their papers to be submited to IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
Suggested length for the final manuscript of the regular paper is 6 pages. Papers exceeding 6 pages might be submitted upon payment of overlength page charges. A maximum of 2 extra pages above 6 pages are permitted.
Extra pages over 6 would incur extra charges (NT$3000/page) for inclusion in the conference publications.

This category of submissions is provided to authors who want to have a timely present of their research. One of the authors of an accepted "One-page Presentation-only position Paper" would be responsible for oral presentation in the conference session. Papers accepted in this category would ONLY be included in the conference proceeding without further IEEE Xplore consideration.

Selected papers of CACS2023 will be recommended to rewrite and then submit to special issues of three SCI-E indexed journals- Sensors, Asian Journal of Control (AJC) or International Journal of Fuzzy Systems (IJFS).

Please send your proposal in PDF format (template) to: cacs2023@gms.npu.edu.tw. Submission deadline is July 1September 10, 2023. Later submissions can be considered on special request.
