Cäcilia vom Baur (née Lipowski)

I am a Professor for Organizational Economics (W1, tenure-track to W2) at Goethe University Frankfurt. I previously held a position as Assistant Professor (non-tenure track) at the ifo Institute and Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU). 

My research focuses on labor and organizational economics, in particular technological change and worker training.

2026/03 I became a member of the standing committee on “Economics of eduction” of the German Economic Association (Bildungsökonomischer Aussschuss des Vereins für Socialpolitik)

2026/02 I am excited to share that, as of April 2026, I will join  Goethe University Frankfurt as Assistant Professor (W1, tenure-track)
