We'll also take you to Mala, a hidden village tucked deep in the rainforest — a place untouched by crowds, where the monsoon comes alive in the most beautiful way. Two offbeat experiences, one unforgettable weekend in the heart of nature.

Proceed to Sakleshpur Railway Station to board the Vista dome train to Bantalwala.
Arrive in Bantalwala by 4pm and proceed to Mala.
Reach Mala by 7pm.
Our escapade here leads us to a timeless 200-year-old abode, cocooned by gushing waterfalls, whispering streams, and a thick jungle. This odyssey promises an indescribable magic that words cannot capture.

Since our first exploration in 2016, Mala has held a special place in our hearts.
It's a day to be one with nature. We will be doing a short and medium difficulty 1-2 hours trek in the forest patch around the property.
The waterfalls and streams on this property will be exclusively ours for the day.
The food prepared here is made from the farm around this property.
Start to Mangalore in the evening.

The trek is conducted with permissions from forest department and with a guidance of a local guide.

Strictly no alcohol at anytime during the trip.
First preference for solo participants and couples. Generally, we don't allow group participation in any of our trips. However, female participants are welcome to bring one of their friends along with them, while male participants can only join solo and are not permitted to bring along another person.
Couples are welcome to register. The total number of couples in a trip will be limited to one couple.
Selection for the trip will be at the complete discretion of Coimbatore Adventure Club. Please send us the payment only if you get a confirmation from us. We will be keeping 50:50 ratio for repeating participants and new participants. Here are some of our criteria:
New participants:
> Solo participants will get first preference.
> Or if you have a referral from our previous participants.
> Or if you have registered for some other trip with us and didn't get a slot.
Repeating participants:
> Preference if you have engaged us in your social media posts/stories
> Or if you have referred us to someone.
> Solo participants will get preference.
Very limited traces of Airtel & BSNL.
Male participants will stay in a comfortable dormitory. Women participants will stay in cottages on double/triple occupancy. Four per cottage for very bigger cottage.
Hot water: Available in the homestay.

Selection of applicants will be solely at the discretion of the Club, and its decision will be final. We welcome only those who are genuinely passionate about trekking to join us.

Payment details will be shared if you are shortlisted for the trip.
Pay Rs.6000 to confirm the trip. Balance can be paid during the trip to the trip leader. This cost is non-refundable as we book the trains/vans, forest entry, and the cottages.

Cancellation Policy:
1) Cancellation by participant:
Advance paid during trip confirmation is strictly non-refundable at any circumstances, as we group book the trains/vans, and accommodation. Also note that the advance payment will strictly be not transferrable to someone else or to a future trip, incase you are not joining the trip. Incase a participant cancels at the last moment (within 48 hours of trip starting time), they will be requested to settle the balance trip cost.
2) Cancellation due to unforeseen situations beyond our control:
In the event of trip cancellations due to natural calamities or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, political unrest, or government-imposed restrictions)—essentially, any situation beyond CAC’s control—train cancellation charges (up to ₹650 for 3AC and ₹300 for Sleeper Class) will be non-refundable. The remaining amount can only be fully transferred to rescheduled dates or applied to any other trip of your choice.
