Ratings

The Challenge Alliance Rating System is a community rating system that allows members of the Challenge Alliance Community to submit ratings of each other after successfully completing an Alliance Challenge Match.

The system helps members of the community in several ways.

• Accountability - The system helps to hold alliances accountable by providing a way for overtly negative behavior to be reported, verified and tracked over time. Participating alliances will know that others will learn if they do not act with honesty and decency when setting up the challenge.
• Integrity - The system creates an environment where alliances can be verified as having honesty and integrity when dealing with other alliances. The main indicator of a healthy gaming community is the integrity of the teams.
• Trust - The system allows the perspective challenger to determine what previous opponents experience has been with the alliance they are considering for a challenge. Alliances that have consistently received high ratings from their opponents are committed to being a fair and trustworthy opponent.

The Challenge Alliance Rating System assigns an alliance a one to five-star rating based on the match negotiation, setup and completion.

• A rating is assessed by each alliance that participates in a verified challenge match. The rating is given by completing a form letter that has been approved by the community. Alliance Leaders or an approved surrogate complete the form once per match.
• Each star inside the form has a specific element that it represents. This prevents the subjectivity that some rating systems can have.
• An optional testimonial (statement in support of a particular truth, fact, or claim) can be given in addition to the star rating. This can be used by the alliance to help promote their integrity and record in the community.
• Any negative rating has to be proven, with verified evidence, to prevent disgruntled alliances from falsely reporting information.
• Once the information has been verified, the alliance will receive an update to their Member Profile in the Members section of the web site.
