Gear up for the ultimate trekking experience! Coimbatore Adventure Club is hosting the season’s most thrilling adventure - Kudremukh, a must-explore mountain for every passionate trekker.

Trip Dates: 6 - 7 July 2025 (Sun - Mon)

🧗ITINERARY

🚌 Day-0 (Sat, 05-July)

09:30pm > Coimbatore Railway Station to Mangalore Central by train.
01:25pm > Chennai Central to Mangalore Central by train.
10:00pm > Bangalore to Kalasa by Bus.

Travel time: 8 hours overnight train/bus.

Meals: None

🚌 Day-1 (Sun, 06-July)

Coimbatore & Chennai Participants:

06:00 am > Arrive at Mangalore. After breakfast we will proceed to Kudremukh town by road in a Van.
12:30 pm > Arrive at the homestay in the Kudremukh town. After lunch we shall proceed to a nearby waterfall for a relaxed dip.

Bangalore Participants:

05:45am > Arrive in Kalasa and travel to homestay (15min).

Travel time: 3 hours by road in a van.

Meals: Dinner.

🚌 Day-2 (Mon, 07-July)

7:00 am > The trek to Kudremukh begins.
5:00 pm > Return to the homestay after the trek, freshen up.
7:00 pm > Leave to Mangalore Railway Station.
11:45 pm > Board Train to Coimbatore and Chennai from Mangalore. (10:15pm bus from Kalasa to Bangalore).

Travel time: 3 hours on road in a van + 8 hours overnight train.

Meals included: BF, Lunch.

🚌 Day-3 (Tue, 08 July)

07:30 am > Arrive at Coimbatore Railway Station.
04:00 pm > Arrive at Chennai Central Railway Station.
05:30am > Arrive in Bangalore.

Travel time: Train: 8 hours (over night).

Meals included: None

🧗General Info:

Basics:

Total number of slots: 12
Age group: 18 to 40
Gender ratio: To encourage female travelers, we will ensure that there is a min of 50% female participants.
Trek Difficulty: Moderate for regular trekkers, Difficult for first timers.
Trek Distance : 22kms to be covered in 8 hours (complete trek distance).
We will be booking your train tickets & all other transportations.
Local transportation will be by Tempo travelers & off-road vehicles.
Please note that we will be staying in a pure vegetarian homestay. Strictly no non-veg food will be allowed, including eggs.
This trek is conducted with official permission from the Forest Department, and a guide who is appointed by the forest officials, will accompany us throughout.
Strictly no alcohol or smoking at anytime during the trip.
First preference for solo participants and couples. Generally, we don't allow group participation in any of our trips. However, female participants are welcome to bring one of their friends along with them, while male participants can only join solo and are not permitted to bring along another person.
Couples are welcome to register. The total number of couples in a trip will be limited to one couple.

Selection process:

Selection for the trip will be at the complete discretion of Coimbatore Adventure Club. Please send us the payment only if you get a confirmation from us. We will be keeping 50:50 ratio for repeating participants and new participants. Here are some of our criteria:
- New participants:

> Solo participants will get first preference.

> Or if you have a referral from our previous participants.

> Or if you have registered for some other trip with us and didn't get a slot.

- Repeating participants:

> Preference if you have engaged us in your social media posts/stories.

> Or if you have referred us to someone.

> Solo participants will get preference.

Mobile Connectivity:

Very little mobile network through Airtel & Jio. There won't be any network during the trek.

Accommodation:

Male participants will stay in a comfortable dormitory. Women participants will stay in cottages on triple occupancy and four per room in bigger rooms.

All other information will be informed to you once you are selected and confirmed for the trek.
Selection of applicants will be solely at the discretion of the Club, and its decision will be final. We welcome only those who are genuinely passionate about trekking to join us.

🧗Registration & Payments

Register your interest by filling the form in the bottom of this page.
We will send confirmation through WhatsApp message. In case you are not selected, you will get a regret message from our side.
Payment details will be shared if you are shortlisted for the trip.
Pay Rs.3000 (if opting for 3AC) and Rs.2000 (if opting for Sleeper) to confirm the trip. Balance can be paid during the trip. This cost is non-refundable as we book the trains/vans, forest entry, and the cottage.

Cancellation Policy:

1) Cancellation by participant:

Advance paid during trip confirmation is strictly non-refundable at any circumstances, as we group book the trains/vans, and accommodation. Also note that the advance payment will strictly be not transferrable to someone else or to a future trip, incase you are not joining the trip. Incase a participant cancels at the last moment (within 48 hours of trip starting time), they will be requested to settle the balance trip cost.

2) Cancellation due to unforeseen situations beyond our control:

In the event of trip cancellations due to natural calamities or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, political unrest, or government-imposed restrictions)—essentially, any situation beyond CAC’s control—train cancellation charges (up to ₹650 for 3AC and ₹300 for Sleeper Class) will be non-refundable. The remaining amount can be fully transferred to rescheduled dates or applied to any other trip of your choice.
