We have curated this itinerary to travel in Japan like a local, covering only the places that are extraordinary during spring. Our trip is carefully timed to coincide with the peak bloom of the iconic sakura, offering an unforgettable experience of Japan’s fleeting beauty.

🌸 Tokyo – The Capital in Full Bloom

Our journey begins in Japan’s dynamic capital, landing just one day before the peak bloom of cherry blossoms! Tokyo's streets pulse with energy, from neon-lit alleys to sprawling parks draped in pink. We’ll explore the buzzing nightlife, go shopping, and visit Disneyland or TeamLab Planets. A stop at the Tsukiji Outer Market for fresh seafood and a breathtaking view from Skytree Observation Deck will make this cherry blossom season truly unforgettable.

🌸 Osaka & Mount Yoshino – A Sakura Wonderland

We’ll take a bullet train to Osaka and head straight to one of Japan’s most breathtaking sights—Mount Yoshino. With over 30,000 cherry trees painting the mountain ridges in soft pink, this is Japan’s ultimate sakura viewing spot. Trekking through ancient trails, we’ll discover hidden temples and panoramic views that feel straight out of a fairytale.

🌸 Kyoto – Timeless Beauty Amidst Bamboo & Blossoms

After the trek, we’ll journey to Kyoto, where history and nature intertwine beautifully. An early morning walk through the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest will set a peaceful tone for the day, followed by a leisurely exploration of Kyoto’s charming streets, historic landmarks, and world-class cuisine.

🌸 Miyajima Island – The Floating Shrine in Bloom

A scenic ferry ride takes us to Miyajima Island, home to the legendary floating Torii Gate of Itsukushima Shrine. Strolling through this serene island, with sakura petals drifting in the air, is pure magic.

🌸 Hiroshima – Reflection & Renewal Under the Blossoms

No visit to Japan is complete without Hiroshima. Walking along the Motoyasu River, lined with delicate cherry blossoms, offers a moment of reflection on Hiroshima’s resilience and rebirth.

🌸 Sendai – A Hidden Sakura Paradise

We’ll take a domestic flight from Hiroshima to Sendai, a hidden cherry blossom gem. Arriving at the perfect time for its bloom, we’ll witness some of Japan’s most untouched and breathtaking sakura landscapes. From Sendai, we will taking the faster train on the planet to reach Tokyo.

🌸 Mount Fuji & Oshino Hakkai – A Picture-Perfect Ending

No spring trip to Japan is complete without Mount Fuji framed by delicate Sakura blossoms. The best views await in Oshino Hakkai, a picturesque village with traditional thatched-roof houses and crystal-clear ponds that reflect both the cherry trees and Japan’s iconic mountain. This is the ultimate postcard-perfect farewell to Japan.

🌸 Tokyo - Farewell

We’ll head back to Tokyo for some last-minute shopping and good food—whether it’s the luxury stores in Ginza or the tech and anime shops in Akihabara, there’s something for everyone! To wrap up our trip, we’ll enjoy a farewell dinner, reminiscing about our amazing journey.

Day-wise Itinerary:

Day 1: - Land in Narita airport, relax and explore the city in the evening.

Day 2: Visit top cherry blossom spots like Ueno Park, Asakusa (Senso-ji Temple & Sumida River)& Kasai Rinkai Park.

Day 3: Travel to Oshino Hakkai, a scenic village near Mount Fuji. Explore the ponds and views, then stay overnight.

Day 4: Take a train to Osaka, drop off luggage, and do a day trip to Kyoto.

Day 5: Choose between a cherry blossom tour in Osaka or a full day at Universal Studios Japan. Head to Ura Namba for a night street food hopping experience.

Day 6: Take a train to Mount Yoshino, famous for thousands of cherry trees. Hike through scenic trails and temples. Return to Osaka.

Day 7: Take a bullet train to Hiroshima. Visit the Peace Memorial Park, Atomic Bomb Dome, and Hiroshima Castle.

Day 8: Take a ferry to Miyajima Island. See the floating Torii Gate and visit Itsukushima Shrine.

Day 9: Fly to Sendai and explore cherry blossom spots like Mikamine Park and Tsutsujigaoka Park.

Day 10: Take the Hayabusa Shinkansen to Tokyo. Spend the evening shopping and collecting souvenirs.

Day 11: Fly back to India with wonderful memories of Japan!

Payment Schedule:

1) First payment: For slot confirmation - ₹25,000 (non-refundable)

2) Second payment: By 25-Feb-2025 - ₹40,000

3) Third payment: By 15-Mar-2025 - ₹40,000

4) Balance: During the trip

Exclusions:

✖ Flight tickets (Approx ₹55,000 from/to Chennai)

✖ Tourist Visa (₹1350 if you apply by yourself. Approx ₹3500-4500 through an agent). We will be supporting your Visa process.

✖ Travel insurance (Approx ₹1000)

✖ Meals would be approx. ₹2500 per day. This is the cost of a normal meal and not for a meal at a fine dine restaurant. As we have time constraints almost every day, we may not be having meals at fine dine restaurants.

✖ Any personal transport expenses for places not mentioned in itinerary, for shopping etc.

✖ Cost incidental to any change in the itinerary/stay on account of flight cancellation due to bad weather, ill health, roadblocks, landslides, floods and/or any factors beyond control. If flights get cancelled due to weather, we will arrange alternative stay at minimal cost.

🏯 GENERAL INFO

Basics:

Total number of slots: 11
Age group: 18 to 45
A valid Indian Passport with at-least 6 months validity.
We will be coordinating with you for your Visa application.
Gender ratio: To encourage female travelers, we will ensure that there is a min of 40% female participants.
Please note that there could be small changes in the itinerary due to local restrictions, and suitable alternative plans will made in such cases.
All activities are subject to weather and local rules.

Who can join:

First preference for solo participants and couples.
Generally we don't allow group participation in any of our trips. However, you are permitted to bring along one of your friend or a family member with you.

Visa:

We will be providing assistance for getting your Visa, with the help of our partner Visa agent.
During our previous Japan trip, 10 out of 11 persons successfully received their Visa. Therefore, with basic documentation, Japan Visa is quite easy and very affordable compared to other countries.

Flights:

Flight from India have to be booked as mentioned below:
- Arrival at Tokyo Narita Airport (NRT) on 28th-Mar-2025 before 4 PM. We will be leaving the airport together by 5:30 PM.
- Depart from Tokyo Narita Airport (NRT) on 7-Apr-2025 any time.
We will try to travel together from India. At the time of confirmation, we will let you know which flights needs to be booked, so that the entire team travels together. We can help you if you really need any flight booking assistance.
Please book flights only after you make the advance payment for the trip, and after receiving an acknowledgement from CAC about your slot confirmation.

Accommodations:

All accommodations are triple sharing, sometimes 4 sharing in bigger rooms.
Accommodation types vary from modern hotels, traditional Japanese houses, Airbnb's, and onsen hotels.

Food:

Vegetarian food will be hard to find in most places. But we will try to get Japanese veg food arranged for you. However vegetarians must carry some ready-to-eat food packets from India.
Please note, we will strictly avoid visiting any Indian restaurants, as our schedule requires us to keep moving. We encourage everyone joining us to embrace and enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine.
Most of the places in the itinerary where we will be travelling are very rarely visited by Indians. And chances of Indian food are almost NIL.

Cancellation Policy:

No Refund of the advance will be provided.
If for any reason your visa is rejected by Japan Immigration, we will provide the complete refund of the trip cost paid by you, if you inform us about the cancellation before 01-Mar-2025.

Registration & Selection Process:

Registering for the trip does not guarantee a slot in the trip.
For exploration trips, first preference is given only for those who have previously travelled with us.
