Two landscapes. Two different energies. This journey brings together Dandeli and Goa, moving from forested trails to old neighborhoods, offering a chance to experience two distinct sides of the Western Ghats in a single trip.

We begin in Dandeli, staying inside a forest department camp and trekking through reserve forest trails. The experience also includes rafting on the Kali River along one of the longer permitted stretches in the region. From there, the journey continues to Goa, with a stay in Fontainhas, the old Latin Quarter of Panjim, in a Portuguese-era heritage house. A visit to a traditional feni distillery adds a glimpse into how this local spirit is made.

Near the Chorla Ghats, the stay is at a forest resort accessible only by a funicular train. Evenings unfold with a Goan cultural dance performance, followed by a quiet night walk through the forest.

🚐 Day-0: (28-May, Thu)

All Routes to Hubballi

📍 Coimbatore participants:

- - 08:30 PM: Report at Podanur Railway Station.
  - 09:00 PM: Board TVCN UBL SF EXP (Train No. 12778) from Podanur Railway Station, Coimbatore to Hubballi.

📍 Bangalore participants:

- - 09:15 PM: Report at KSR Bengaluru Railway station.
  - 09:50 PM: Board Hampi Express (Train No. 16592) from KSR Bengaluru Railway Station to Hubballi.

📍 Participants from other cities:

- - You can join the trip from Coimbatore or Bangalore with the group or reach Hubballi directly on your own.

🚐 Day 1 (29-May, Fri)

Reach Dandeli

All participants will arrive at Hubballi Railway Station as follows:
- - Participants joining from Bangalore will reach by 10:20 AM
  - Participants joining from Coimbatore will reach by 12:15 PM
Once everyone reaches Hubbali railway station, we'll proceed towards Dandeli by road.
Reach our accommodation by evening, engage in group session over dinner.

Day 1 - Accommodation | Kulgi Jungle Camp (inside Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary)

🚐 Day 2 (30-May, Sat)

Trek, Raft & Retreat

Early morning trek through the reserve forests of Kulgi.
Post lunch, begin your white-water rafting experience (optional).
By evening, return from rafting and head to your stay, a peaceful jungle retreat.
If time permits, visit the honey park within the property premises.

- There are two trek options (Timber Trail: 4 km / 4 hrs or Sathkanda Falls: 8 km / 5 hrs). All participants will take one route, based on forest department permissions.
- Rafting will be booked by CAC. Please mention your interest while registering for the trip.
- White Water Rafting in Dandeli conducted by Kali Adventure Camp (a Government of Karnataka undertaking).
- Stay: Kaadumane Homestay (awarded as the "Best Wildlife Stay" category at the Outlook Responsible Tourism Awards 2019)

🚐 Day 3 (31-May, Sun)

Nature Walks & Coastal Evenings

We will go on a short forest walk within the stay.
After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Goa.
Reach our stay in Panjim by evening.
You can spend the night exploring Goa’s beach cafés and experiencing the local nightlife.

Day 3 - Accommodation | Mateus Hotel - Fontainhas, Goa

🚐 Day 4 (01 June, Mon)

Old Town & Jungle Retreat

Spend the morning exploring the streets of Portuguese architecture in the Latin Quarter.
Enjoy the Floating Feni experience.
Travel to Chorla Ghat, and take a funicular train to reach the stay.
In the evening, watch a cultural dance performance and go on a quiet night walk through the forest within the resort.

Hidden Falls & Infinity Views

Hike to a hidden waterfall within the resort.
Spend time in the infinity pool overlooking the mountains.
Check out and proceed to Madgaon railway station, reaching by 04:45 PM.

05:00 AM (03-Jun): Reach Shoranur and drive to Coimbatore, arriving by 09:00 AM.

06:10 PM: MAQ VANDE BHARAT (Train No.: 20645) from Madgaon to Mangalore Central.
10:45 PM: Reach Mangalore Central Railway Station, proceed to the Mangalore bus stand, and board the KSRTC AC sleeper bus at 11:30 PM, arriving in Bangalore by 07:00 AM on 03-Jun.

📍 Participants from other cities:

You can plan your return travel from Madgaon Railway Station any time after 5:20 PM.

🧗🏽 GENERAL INFO

Basics:

- Total number of slots: 14
- Age group: 18 to 38
- Gender Ratio: To encourage female travelers, we will ensure that there is a min of 40% female participants.
- This trip is only for those who wish to be close with nature.
- Strictly no alcohol or smoking at any time during the trip.
- Participants will need to carry a small bag during the trek to carry some snacks and other essentials.
- Couples are welcome to register. The total number of couples in the trip will be limited to one.

Accommodation:

- Accommodation will be in cottages separate for men and women.
- Double/Triple/Quad sharing rooms.
- Separate double rooms for couples can be arranged for all days at an additional cost, subject to availability. Please contact us for details.
- Hot water facility will be subject to availability at the property.
- Customized food options may not be available.

Trek details:

Trek Difficulty: Easy to Medium for regular trekkers, medium to difficult for first timers.
We will have one trek in Dandeli and one in Goa.

Selection Criteria:

- Selection for the trip will be at the complete discretion of Coimbatore Adventure Club. Please send us the payment only if you get a confirmation from us. We will be keeping 50:50 ratio for repeating participants and new participants. Here are some of our criteria.
- New participants:
  - - Solo participants will get first preference.
    - Or if you have a referral from our previous participants.
    - Or if you have registered for some other trip with us and didn't get a slot.
- Repeating participants:
  - - Preference if you have engaged us in your social media posts/stories.
    - Or if you have referred us to someone.

Registration & Selection Process:

Registration: If you are interested in joining this trip, please complete your registration by clicking the link provided at the end of this itinerary.
Invitation and Selection Process: Once registered, shortlisted participants will receive an official invitation to join the trip along with details for making the advance payment.

Please note that the selection process is solely at the discretion of the Coimbatore Adventure Club. If all slots are filled, we will notify you and place you on a waitlist.

Advance Payment: Shortlisted participants will receive advance payment instructions. Your slot for the trip will be confirmed only upon successful payment of the advance.
Please Note: Registering for the trip via the provided link does not guarantee a slot. Confirmation is subject to the selection process and availability of slots.

Payment process:

Confirm your spot with an initial payment of ₹10,000 and it is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Option to pay advance amount through credit cards / wallets are also possible. Do request us at the time of payment.
Balance payment to be settled during the trip in cash.
Payment details will be shared if you are shortlisted for the trip.
We do have EMI option, but there will be processing fee and interest.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation by participant:

- Advance paid during trip confirmation is strictly non-refundable at any circumstances, as we group book the transports, treks and accommodation. Also note that the advance payment will strictly be not transferrable to someone else or to a future trip, in case you are not joining the trip. In case a participant cancels at the last moment (within 48 hours of trip starting time), they will be requested to settle the balance trip cost.

Cancellation due to unforeseen situations beyond our control:

In the event of trip cancellations due to natural calamities or unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, political unrest, or government-imposed restrictions)—essentially, any situation beyond CAC’s control— train/bus cancellation charges up to ₹1000 will be non-refundable. The remaining amount can be fully transferred to rescheduled dates or applied to any other trip of your choice.

Important Notice:

- Coimbatore Adventure Club reserves the right to remove any participant from the trip at any time if they engage in any illicit or inappropriate behavior. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all travelers. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
- Incase of misbehavior, the concerned participant can be sent home without any refund.
- Please note that there could be small changes in the itinerary due to weather, local restrictions or any unforeseen circumstances. Suitable alternative plans will made in such cases.
