During the fall of 2023, we launched our initial control payload.
Having successfully collected temperature, humidity, pressure, and altitude data, our goal is to continue to establish this for the next five years, as our data can be accessed for multiple research purposes.

In the following images, Elizabeth, Cortney, Henry are working on prototypes before building the final payload. Our mission is to have the final Control payload as ready as it can be.

Last semester, the mechanical team had a Triangular Prism structure for the payload. Since we have a long-term objective, we must opt to maintain a reliable payload that will always give us data. The control payload was constructed in the same fashion and had almost the same components. This time we are ensuring there is a debug port for testing purposes and gathering data and sensor cover for extra protection.
