Cabzzy is a ride booking platform owned and operated by BROGEN TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED, which requires limited user data to deliver core app functionality to deliver core app functionality such as location based ride booking, real time driver tracking, and OTP based login. We are committed to protecting users’ privacy and clearly outlining how we collect, use, and protect user data. All user data is handled in compliance with Google Play's User Data Policy, India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Bill, and, where applicable, GDPR.
To provide accurate pickup and drop off functionality, Cabzzy collects both approximate and precise location data. Location data is essential for identifying the user's current position, matching them with nearby drivers, and tracking the ride in real time. This location is also used to show estimated arrival time (ETA), navigation, and map rendering during the ride. We request foreground location access, and background location access is used only during an active ride, with clear user disclosure and consent. and use Google Maps API to enhance ride accuracy.
We do not collect location in the background unless explicitly permitted in future versions and justified with user facing features like trip monitoring.
We collect users’ mobile phone numbers to enable secure login via Firebase Authentication. This is the only personal identifier we collect at login. The number is verified using an OTP (One Time Password), and no password is required. This ensures a secure and frictionless user login experience while minimizing data collection.
We do not collect sensitive personal information such as PAN.
Aadhaar information may be collected only from drivers, strictly for identity verification and fraud prevention, as described in Section 13.
BROGEN TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED may request access to device storage or media if a user chooses to upload a profile picture or submit a photo for customer support. This permission is optional and only triggered when the user initiates such actions. No media is accessed or uploaded in the background or without user consent.
BROGEN TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED, through the Cabzzy app, collects basic device identifiers like Firebase Installation ID and device model. This helps us:

Detect and prevent fraudulent activities
We do not access contacts, call logs, SMS, IMEI, or other hardware identifiers.

This helps improve app usability, enhance performance, and fix bugs through analytics and crash reporting tools such as Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics. All such data is stored securely and cannot be traced back to individual users.
All user data is transmitted securely over HTTPS. We use Firebase and other trusted cloud services that comply with industry security standards (ISO, SOC, etc.). Personal data like phone numbers and locations are encrypted both in transit and at rest. Access to sensitive data is restricted via authentication and role based access control for drivers, agents, and users.

BROGEN TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED is the entity responsible for collection, processing, storage, and protection of all user data.
Cabzzy app only collects minimal user data required to deliver its core ride booking features. We are transparent, user centric, and fully compliant with Google Play’s data policies. All collected data is secured, never sold, and deleted upon user request.
Purpose of Collection: Aadhaar data is collected solely for verifying driver identity and preventing fraud.
No Third-Party Sharing: Aadhaar information is never shared with third-party organizations, marketing firms, or any other entity.
No Selling of Data: Cabzzy does not sell Aadhaar data to anyone.
Secure Storage: Aadhaar data is stored securely with encryption and access is strictly limited to authorized personnel only.
Retention: Aadhaar information is retained only as long as necessary for fraud prevention and legal compliance. Once no longer needed, it is permanently deleted.
Aadhaar data is never used for marketing or profiling purposes.
