Lynn Drescher’s journey in the sign industry began at 19 while pursuing a degree in Sculpture at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. What started as an office position at a national sign franchise quickly evolved into a lifelong career built on creativity, craftsmanship, and hands-on experience.
Over the next 24 years, Lynn learned every aspect of the process, from graphic design and artwork preparation to large-format printing, vinyl cutting, fabrication, and professional installation. She worked on projects of every scale, applying graphics to storefronts, vehicles, buildings, and other real-world environments. Through years of problem-solving and collaboration, she developed a practical understanding of what makes signage not only look great, but work effectively in its intended space.

Built on years of industry knowledge and a commitment to quality, CabinFever was founded on the belief that the best signs happen in the real world—not just on a computer screen.

Today, CabinFever Studios is growing beyond its Burlington roots and expanding into Milwaukee’s creative community at House of RAD. This next chapter creates opportunities to collaborate with artists, designers, businesses, and organizations while continuing to serve Burlington and Southeastern Wisconsin.
At its heart, CabinFever Studios exists at the intersection of art, design, fabrication, and visual storytelling. Every project is an opportunity to turn an idea into something tangible, purposeful, and lasting—made with craftsmanship, a little creative curiosity, and a willingness to think beyond the ordinary.
Eric Drescher is Lynn’s husband and co-owner of CabinFever Studios, playing an important and supportive role in the company’s growth. As CabinFever expands into Milwaukee, Eric is helping bring the new studio space to life and preparing to take on a larger role in sales, business development, and relationship building, drawing on his military affiliations and professional network to create new opportunities for the business.
As CabinFever Studios enters its next chapter, Eric’s involvement will help strengthen operations, expand connections, and support the company’s long-term vision. Of course, working alongside the production manager may come with its own set of challenges—we’re just hoping she goes easy on him!
