ATR Technical Exchange Meeting in Taiwan

鑒於ATR72-600型飛機已是國籍航空公司經營本國國內航線最主要機種,對於如何妥適利用與提升整體航務操作、簽派及適航維護作業之安全與效率等,應持續透過技術與飛安資訊分享及交流,以達到落實安全基礎並提升營運效益之目標,這應是所有航空器使用人及民航局共同關切的課題,因此民航局與中華航空事業發展基金會共同辦理ATR運作研討會,邀請各國講者共享經驗,俾利確保國內ATR航空業者安全運作及提升營運效益。

This Meeting, hosted by the CAA Taiwan and the China Aviation Development Foundation, will enable the manufacturers and operators in this region to share their best practices and operational experiences on topics linked to ATR operations and maintenance.

We will be joined by speakers from the manufacturer, industry partners and ATR operators with presentations and discussions relating to topics you can expect to see on the agenda:

Martin Eran-Tasker

Technical Director, Association of Asia Pacific Airlines

Mr. Martin Eran-Tasker has held the position of Technical Director of the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines since June 2004. In this role, Mr. Eran-Tasker leads and represents AAPA on key technical and operational industry issues in the areas of safety, security, environment and operations. Prior to joining AAPA, Mr. Eran-Tasker held a variety of managerial and engineering positions with the following organisations; International Air Transport Association (IATA), Airbus Industrie, and a number of airlines including British Airways, Saudi Arabian Airlines and British Caledonia Airways. During his career Mr. Eran-Tasker’s responsibilities have included addressing areas in certification, technical, operations, engineering, environment, fuel management, maintenance programme development and airline support functions. His experience also includes international relations, industry-to-government negotiations and the development of various aspects of regional and global aviation policy.

Alice Calmels

Flight Safety Director, ATR

Ms. Alice Calmels has held the position of Flight Safety Director of ATR since 2018. In this role, Ms. Calmels ensures the development of ATR Safety Culture, collaboration with international organizations and she contributes to accidents/incidents investigations as technical adviser to the French BEA. Prior to this position, Ms. Calmels worked for Airbus as an Ice Protection Expert for 15 years. She was in charge of Aircraft Ice Protection Systems design and certification, of the flight tests campaigns conduction and she contributed to several safety investigations.

Albert Drijgers

Deputy Head of Training ATC, ATR Singapore Training Center

Captain Albert Drijgers joined ATR 10 years ago and has been part of the ATR pilot team introducing the ATR-500 &-600 to the various companies in South east Asia, Philippines and Indonesia. He is an ATR TRI/TRE. In 2014, he has been nominated Head of the ATR Singapore Training Center. He is responsible for the compliance of the ATR standards and logistical organisation of the center. Capt. Drijgers started flying gliders at an age of 14 years and has never stopped practicing and enjoying his favorite sport. His commercial flying career was mainly with the Royal Dutch Airline KLM City Hopper and KLM Exel after which he joined ATR. Having accumulated just over 20 Thousand flight hours, he still enjoys teaching the pilot skills and standard procedures in all todays’ modern technology available on the ATR 600.

Gilles Grancher

Flight Operations Support Manager, ATR

Mr. Gilles Grancher has held the position of Flight Operations Support Manager of ATR since 2007. In this role, Mr. Grancher ensures:- Support of the operators requests on operations related topics.- Training for the flight ops engineers and dispatcher.- Operational visits to the airlines.Prior to this position, Mr. Grancher worked for ATR training center as maintenance instructor for 5 years. In parallel, Mr. Grancher is pilot qualified on all the ATR aircraft versions.

Paul Jouas

Flight Safety Director, ATR

Mr. Paul Jouas has held the position of Flight Safety Director of ATR since 2016. In this role, Mr. Jouas ensures the development of ATR Safety Culture and he contributes to accidents/incidents investigations as technical adviser to the French BEA. After graduating from an aeronautical engineering school in Toulouse, Mr. Jouas joined Air France as performance engineer, designing EOSID (Engine out in SID) trajectories for performance restricted airfields. In 2008, he joined ATR as Flight Operations Support Manager before moving to the Flight Safety Division.

Carlo G. Aclan

Safety Manager, Quality, Safety and Security, Cebu Pacific Air

Capt. Carlo Aclan is an ATR 72-600 pilot and concurrently serves as the Safety Manager of Cebgo, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cebu Pacific Air, the Philippines’ leading low-cost carrier. Throughout his flying career, he has developed significant experience and profound expertise in safety management system, flight operations quality assurance, and flight data analysis. In his capacity as safety manager, he works closely with the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, Air Carriers Association of the Philippines & AAPA, among others, to implement a systematic approach to safety and to improve safety performance while maintaining a high level of capacity and efficiency. Capt. Aclan has 19 years of aviation industry experience - 12 years of which in ground and flight deck crew training and 6 years with safety department. He is currently completing his Advanced Masters in Aviation Safety Management, a joint initiative of ICAO, CAAP and ENAC.

Zach Reynolds

Customer Support Staff Engineer, ACSS

Mr. Reynolds is a Customer Support Staff Engineer at ACSS. He has 32 years experience as an engineer, with the last 18 at ACSS working various TAWS, TCAS and ADS-B programs for the T2CAS and T3CAS products. He has 4 patents in TAWS and related areas. Mr. Reynolds has served as secretary on the RTCA SC-231 committee, including a release of the updated DO-367 TAWS requirements released in 2017 and including a recommissioning occurring in 2019.

Yves Limorté

Head of Technical Support & Regional Flight Safety Manager

Mr. Yves Limorté has held the position of Head of Technical Support and Regional Flight Safety Manager in ATR since 01 June 2015. In this role, Mr. Limorté ensures the organization and coordination of the tech support for ASIA/PAC operators, to guarantee the good technical exploitation of the ATR fleet in the area, regional focal point for flight safety matters. Prior to this position, Mr. Limorté worked for ATR as Maintenance Instructor for 10 years. He was in charge of ATR maintenance training on theoretical, practical and examination, in charge of ATR 600 development for maintenance training, in charge of maintenance instructor standardization.
