Rodrigo Castiñeira Gonzalez (Indra Sistemas S.A): Bachelor in Telecommunications Engineering. R&D - Project Manager at Indra’s the last 6 years. Rodrigo works at Indra in the Transport Unit as R&D Coordinator. He is the Transforming Transport project coordinator. In the past, he has coordinated other European projects in the transport & mobility area related to Connected & Autonomous Vehicle, Mobility as Service, Smart Cities, etc. Currently, he is the project coordinator of the AUTOCITS (CEF-INEA Project).
Andre Dias (CEiiA): André Dias is Head of Intelligent Systems unit at CEiiA. He holds a Master of Science degrees in Aerospace Engineering and developed his masters’ thesis on embedded systems, as a research engineer at the University of California at Los Angeles, with previous research experience at Airbus Defence and Space. He joined CEiiA in 2012, where he coordinates the development of ICT-based products focusing on advanced smart mobility concepts.
Francisco Sanchez (CTAG): Francisco is Director of Electronics & ITS at CTAG. He finished his studies in Physics in 1988 and additionally got a Master Degree in Software Engineering in 1992 at the University of Barcelona. He has developed his professional career in the automotive and transport industry, where he has led many different R&D projects. Francisco joined the VW-Group in 1991, spending 14 years working at SEAT Technical Centre within the Electric and Electronic Division. There he carried out different responsibilities, among others leading the Electronic Predevelopment Department and the SEAT HMI Innovation Centre. He joined CTAG in January 2005 as Innovation Director and since 2009 he became Electronics & ITS Director, developing the new CTAG’s Centre for Electronics and Intelligent Vehicles. Francisco primary research and development fields includes the domains of driver assistance systems, automated driving, connectivity, electromobility, HMI, intelligent infrastructures and electronic system validation. Francisco is also Professor of Intelligent Transport Systems at the Master in Automotive Engineering organised by Vigo University.
Mohammad AbuAlhoul (INRIA, RITS): Mohammad Ya’kub Abualhoul works currently as Scientific Researcher at INRIA, where he received his Ph.D. in Robotics and Communication for Intelligent Transport System from both Mine ParisTech University and INRIA Research Institute, Paris-France in 2016. He holds an M.Sc. degree in Photonics and Communication engineering from Lund University, Lund-Sweden, and a B.Sc. in Wireless Communication Engineering from Yarmouk University, Irbid-Jordan. He was a research assistant in the department of communication engineering at Lund University and Ozegin University from October 2011 until January 2012, January 2012 until June 2012, respectively. For a one year followed, Mohammad was working as an expert engineer at INRIA/RITS, in which he mainly worked on communication for ITS.
