if you are not on 9.00 this tutorial wont work. above 9.00 currently has no jailbreak but if below use a usb, go to either Ddarksoftware.com : or to darthstenie.net
change the 9.00 update file to PS4UPDATE.PUP
make sure files are not on usb yet and then make sure it is configured to exfat or fat32 (exfat recommended)
create folder on usb called PS4 then in that folder create another folder called UPDATE then put the PS4UPDATE.PUP file into the UPDATE folder.
make sure ps4 isn't connected to internet, plug the usb into the ps4 and then update it, it should now be on 9.00
also to be extra safe clear notifications
if an error occurs just try again
once update is done now its the fun part
re connect to internet then go to setup<custom setup<auto ip<do not specify and then do manual dns
in the dns settings put the first dns as 192.241.221.79
and put the second dns as 165.227.83.145
do the rest of the settings as no proxy and auto MTU
put usb back into pc
download rufus
get exfat hacked img
in rufus select usb and then click select and then select the exffat hacked img
click start and wait
the usb shouldn't show up on your pc anymore
on ps4 dont plug usb in yet and load up your exploit page in the web
clear browser cookies and data
so now the web loads into an exploit page but my recommended site is karo218.ir
click 9.00 gold
then load a goldhen of your choice
it will tell you when to plug the usb in and out
goldhen will load and if it dosent re try
once you have done that your ps4 is officially modded.
but to get more out of it theres more to do the fun parts
go to settings and you will now have goldhen and dev settings
in the goldhen ones enable ftp server and binloader server
now go to payload page and disable update for extra protection
to keep jailbreak enabled put ps4 in sleep mode, otherwise just reload goldhen
so now you can use other usbs to install games or even send them from your pc to your ps4
now the only step left is to enjoy your modded ps4 (or run linux and play steam games and xbox games on your ps4)
