Registration and Course Planning
I will send an email a few weeks before registration opens. To register for courses, you must meet with me so I can release your registration hold. You may come during my office hours or use the Book time with Carmen A Esposito: Advising Appointments link. Please note that this link is only open during course registration time.
Before our meeting:
Review your degree audit on COIN
Consult your tracking sheet
Review course offerings for the upcoming semester
Use this Excel spreadsheet to organize your course selections
Come prepared with the following information for each course:
If you do not have this information prepared, I will ask you to gather it before we can proceed. It is your responsibility to research and plan your courses in advance.
Even if you have financial or other holds that may delay your registration for the upcoming semester, you still need to meet with me to have your advising hold released. You cannot register for classes without this meeting. Please don't wait until late in the semester or after it ends to schedule your appointment. Delaying could result in further registration complications, especially if the semester concludes before we meet. Schedule your advising appointment as soon as possible to avoid any issues with course registration.
