2. Location Data & Background Tracking

C4C Express collects and processes location data to enable core app functionalities:

• Cargo Tracking & Route Optimization: We collect precise location data from Passengers/Cargo Owners and Drivers to estimate delivery times, enable real-time shipment tracking, and optimize delivery routes.

• Background Location Access: If enabled by the user, Driver location data may be collected in the background even when the app is closed or not in use, specifically to provide live package tracking to cargo recipients while a delivery is actively in progress.

You can enable or disable location services when you use our Service at any time through your mobile device settings.

3. Third-Party Services and SDKs

Our Service utilizes third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Below are the third-party service providers used in the app:

• Google Play Services: Used for app infrastructure and essential services.

• Firebase (Google LLC):

  • Firebase Authentication: To securely manage user sign-ins and identity.

  • Cloud Firestore & Firebase Storage: To store delivery orders, user account details, and images safely.

  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): To send push notifications regarding shipment status updates.

• Google Maps API: To display interactive maps and calculate delivery routes.

C4C Express uses the collected data for various purposes:

• To provide and maintain our Service
