Speaking Practice Instructions for C1 Students

How to Use This Tool

• Select a Topic: Click on any topic button at the top (Immigration, Success, Business, etc.)

• Discuss the Prompts: Each topic reveals three discussion points - you should spend about 1 minute on each

• Brainstorming Vocabulary and Grammar:

  • Add useful words/phrases and the advanced grammar you want to use to the Vocabulary and Advanced Grammar Section 

  • Delete words individually with the “Bin” button

• Use the Timer: Click “Start Timer” for the 3-minute practice session. 

• Practice Strategy:

  • Structure your response with an introduction, main points, and conclusion

  • Use advanced grammar structures and C1-level vocabulary

  • Express and justify opinions with examples

• Repeat Practice: Click "Choose a Topic” to reset and select a new discussion topic
