According to Curry Student Center policies, there are a limited amount of lockers that are available to commuters, located in the tunnel system of the University. Lockers are distributed by a first come, first serve basis. You can sign up for a locker through the Husky Card Services portal in the Student Hub. To obtain a locker you need to be an active student and have a functioning Husky Card. Limited to one locker per student.

Locker Service is available for purchase for the Spring 2024 semester starting January 11th. The Locker Service rate for Spring 2024 is $30.00. Annual lockers will be sold for faculty, staff and retirees only for $58.00. Lockers must be purchased in-person. Sales begin January 11th. Debit/credit card only. For those who do not renew their locker nor have cleaned it out before Febuary 2nd, we will have your belongings stored for three week before being donated. Please speak with someone at the front desk to collect your items. Lockers will be resold after Febuary 2nd.

These single use lockers are available on a first come first serve basis throughout the locker room level in Dillon Gym. Day use lockers include the full size gray lockers inside of the locker rooms, as well as the two banks of multi-sized lockers located just outside the locker rooms in the north and south corridors. Lock operating instructions can be found posted on the outside of the day-use lockers. Overnight use of these lockers is strictly prohibited.

The exact deadline for locker cleanout will be posted in the Spring of each academic year. Any locker not emptied or renewed by the posted deadline will be subject to a $20.00 fee in order to claim any belongings that were left behind.

Please be advised that you will be asked to clean out your locker by a date following the end of the Spring semester. Failure to do so will result in a clearance fee of $20. Returning students, however, may opt to keep the assigned locker from the previous year.

Items left in expired lockers will be held for 30 days, in safe keeping, at SHL Public Safety, and then donated or disposed of. SHL is not responsible for content left in expired lockers or lost or stolen items.


Lockers are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. An email will be sent to your UNT email address when a locker has been assigned. If demand exceeds our available supply, the Access Services Department will maintain a waiting list to help us assign lockers fairly.

Students and faculty must renew their locker no later than five business days prior to the end of their rental period. Lockers can be renewed either through LockerGM or in person. Students and faculty must pay the aforementioned fee to renew their locker for the following semester. Students and faculty who renew their locker keep the same combination and maintain access to their locker through to the end of the following semester.

If you leave items in your locker after your rental period ends, bring your Mason ID to the Student Centers Administrative Office (Johnson Center Suite 324) to claim your items. They will contact you when your items are available to be picked up.

Student Centers will keep locker items in storage for a maximum of 30 days into the next academic semester before discarding the items. After the 30 day holding period, some items may be delivered to the University Lost and Found if they are estimated to be of high value (such as wallets or jewelry). General Locker room lockers can be utilized for day use or for extended rentals. Participants must provide their own lock but they can purchase one at the Equipment Center using FLEX. Lockers may be rented at the Equipment Center and remaining lockers are for day use only. There is no fee for day use. Unauthorized overnight use of lockers is prohibited and items left overnight (even if locked) are subject to removal by the Equipment Center.

UREC faculty/staff locker rooms offer more privacy for faculty and staff members, since only individuals with a contract may store items in this locker room. Lockers are large enough to hang jackets and most work apparel. Air circulation fans help keep items dry.

If you are purchasing a locker rental, take care to only purchase the length of rental that you are certain you will use. Refunds will not be granted due to separation or change in status with the University.

The contents of the locker will be removed at closing of the day the contract expires. Participants must keep track of their locker rental expiration date, because we are not always able to send out reminder emails. If you are renewing a locker, you must complete a new contract.

UREC is not responsible for personal belongings or valuables left unsecured in the locker room. Personal items may not be hung on the exterior of the locker (i.e., bathing suits, towels, etc.). Please use the high speed extractor machine to remove water from your swimsuit before storing in lockers.

Day use lockers are available in multiple locations across the Student Recreation Center including inside the locker rooms, by the Midtown Courts, between the Fitness Alley and Midtown Fitness, outside the Cycling Studio, and more.
