Bywood Band

Welcome to the home of the Bwyood Band! You will find information on how to register for the program, practicing tips, upcoming events, and other helpful information.

Band lessons take place throughout the full school day on Tuesday, and Friday mornings. Lesson groups are divided by instrument (flute, trumpet, etc.), are 30 minutes once a week, and are based on the day of the week, not the letter day of the rotation (Day A, B, C, or D). 5th grade band is on Wednesday at 1:10, with the full 4th and 5th grade band rehearsing Friday at 1:10. Rehearsals are 30 minutes and cover musical concepts and concert music. The band performs at the Winter and Spring Concerts and select events though the school year. Please make sure your child has his or her instrument, lesson book, and concert music for all lessons and band practices.
