This is the website for the Energy Materials & Applications Laboratory (EMAL) led by Prof. Byung Gon Kim in the Department of Applied Chemistry at Kyung Hee University. We aim to understand electrochemical reactions in diverse next-generation battery systems such as Li-metal, Li-O2, Li-S, all-solid-state, and aqueous batteries to resolve technological challenges and improve battery performance.
