To become a member of the BYU ANST Interest Group, follow these steps:
The ANST Interest Group program is run by the APA and Division 40 and therefore it's necessary to become a student affiliate of the APA and Division 40 to become an official member of ANST. Information on how to become an APA student member can be found here: https://www.apa.org/apags Student fees are greatly reduced ($67/year for APA, $5 for Division 40) and membership includes opportunities for scholarships, subscriptions to publications, networking opportunities, and more.
Join the ANST listserv here: https://scn40.org/anst/anst-listserv/. The ANST listserv community is made up of graduate students, interns, post-doctoral fellows, and early career psychologists. The listserv is active and regularly sends out conference announcements, training opportunities such as new internships and fellowships, funding announcements, and other interesting information.
Email either of the BYU Interest Group representatives and let them know you've signed up. Membership to the BYU Interest Group is free.
Come to meetings and get involved! Check the website regularly for updates. We can make this chapter as active as we would like and feel it could provide a great deal of benefits for our neuropsychology emphasis area at BYU.
