Born and raised in Minnesota, I have a deep love for all things Minnesotan. Seed Art, Lanesboro, and the North Shore are a few of my favorites. I feel proud to have spent my professional career working for one of Minnesota’s most iconic Fortune 500 companies, 3M. I have two grown children and five loving grandchildren. I am truly blessed.  

As a self-taught artist, I have always been captivated by the rich colors of the Minnesota sky. I find the joy of pigment and paper to be soothing and meditative. I attempt to capture the calming colors of nature in my artwork and share my experiences with others. 

In retirement, my hobbies include watercolor painting, meditation, reading, writing, and enjoying the night sky. All of that is a distant second to enjoying time with my husband, family, and friends.  

Niall Williams wrote that ‘life is a comedy with sad bits.’ I love this quote and think about the twists and turns of my life. My goal in all things is to offer grace to those around me as I travel this world to find the things that make up a life well-lived.
