BalanceBite is designed to help users manage nutrition-related information, habits, and progress.
No user account
BalanceBite does not require a user account.
Data stored on your device
Information entered into the app, such as meals, goals, notes, progress, or nutrition-related data, is stored locally on the user’s device unless stated otherwise or unless the user enables system features such as iCloud backup.
HealthKit
BalanceBite integrates with Apple HealthKit to read and/or write health-related data, if the user explicitly grants permission.
HealthKit data is used only to provide app functionality related to nutrition, activity, health, or progress tracking.
BalanceBite does not sell HealthKit data.
BalanceBite does not use HealthKit data for advertising or third-party tracking.
The user can manage or revoke HealthKit permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.
In-App Purchases
BalanceBite offers optional In-App Purchases, such as voluntary support purchases or premium features.
Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store.
BalanceBite does not receive or store full payment card details.
Purchase information is used to unlock purchased features, restore purchases, or confirm entitlement status.
Apple Intelligence and On-device AI
BalanceBite uses Apple Intelligence and/or on-device AI features where supported by the user’s device and iOS version.
AI-related processing is intended to happen on-device using Apple’s system features where supported.
Some AI features are only available on supported devices.
BalanceBite does not use AI features to sell personal data.
BalanceBite does not use AI features for third-party advertising tracking.
