Late August 2025:  We have some new storage, a new bot to learn on and lots of teaching and learning to go as the summer winds down.  We still meat Tuesdays and Thursdays in the metal shop right after school and going into fall we would love to see some new faces and new mentors.   In addition, we have been getting some designs and plans in place for our next season.  School begins on the 4th of September  and after that we will have 37 meetings until kickoff on January 10.  37 meetings to teach all of the tools,  program a robot, run a mock competition, participate in homecoming and other school and community events,  learn about wiring, mechanicals and building, and grow together as a team.  37 days to fundraise, to present on STEM topics, to clean the shop, check the robots,  to learn project management, to take on leadership roles, and be a contributor.  37 days to do everything!  Come along for the ride if you like!

Early August 2025:  One of our sister teams, the Loggerbots out of Vernonia High School, is able to pass on lots of wonderful gear for us as they are pivoting to doing an FTC team that fits much better into their curriculum and so will not need some of the FRC-specific items they currently have.   So we have lots of inventory to sort through and a shop to organize before school begins.  On this same theme, one of our coaches attended a 2-day workshop put on by ORTOP and learned how to build,  and code the FTC robots that Vernonia will be using this year.  We will add their competitions to our calendar to see if we can cheer them on!
