New Plasma chamber at ERAU (May 2025)
A new plasma chamber (d = 1 m, L = 1 m) is under construction! (William, Rafael, Mario, and Trevor)
The new chamber is under vacuum test (May 22nd, 2025).

The development of a new capacitor bank (pulsed power supply) is in progress (May 2021).
This test demonstrates the Lenz's law - Nature does abhor the change of magnetic flux!
This capacitor bank will be used to create magnetic fields and to be used for gas puff valves.
Capacitor bank and gas puff valve (pulsed power supply) made in house ($30,000 value if purchased).
Gas puff valve
This capacitor bank energizes a gas puff valve to inject gas into a vacuum chamber for an order of microseconds to create a magnetized plasma.
Looks simple, but much physics is involved in this development such as RC time, transistor, Lenz law and so on!
High voltage Caution!
