ABOUT BYEONHWA
“Byeonhwa” (변화) means transformation.
Pronounced “pinn-hwah,” it reflects the belief that consistent training develops the whole person—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Tang Soo Do is more than technique. It is a path of lifelong growth rooted in discipline, humility, and respect. Through sustained practice, the student learns to overcome challenges, refine character, and align action with principle.
In this way, training becomes a process of continuous transformation—shaping not only what a person can do, but who they become.
