Byeong-Je An is an assistant professor of finance at Fowler College of Business. Prior to his appointment in 2023, he was on the faculty at Nanyang Business School at the Nanyang Technological University. He received his PhD in finance from the Columbia Business School at the Columbia University.

Professor An’s research bridges corporate disclosure, green finance, and household finance. Professor An’s work has been published in journals such as the Journal of Finance, and the Journal of Financial Economics.
