I got GTA V Reloaded 1.26 (cuz I'm shit at finding newer ones) and wanted to go online but the social club isn't working and in settings when I press "HOME" nothing happens (home button on your keyboard) and I wanted to ask if I need to download something other to make it work or I just can't play online?
Transfer save games from C:\Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\Profiles\random_numbers to the newly created C:\ProgramData\Socialclub\RLD!\271590. (If the new directory doesn't exist you could just create it).

The first half of April has been spent on the new Social Sharing module in the Genesis Club Pro Plugin. I wanted to improve the feature so that plugin users will get more social shares on their sites. I tackled the problem from 3 angles:
It can be quite difficult getting shares on new posts when the sharecount is showing as zero. The Kickstart feature allows you to add a temporary boost to your posts so they start off with number of shares. This makes it more likely for people to share your posts. The boost decays to zero over time. Therefore as you get more likes the number of shares displayed is in fact correct in the short to medium term. The initial number of shares is chosen randomly from a range you specify for the social network so it is flexible. You can also choose to show the sharecount for each social network or just show a total number of shares across all networks. These features allow you to show your social presence in the best possible light.
The previous version of the social module sharing made use of iframes to connect to the various social sites to get the number of shares. Sometimes this failed and left blank spaces in the boxes where the counts should have been. So it did look a bit untidy. The new version of the plugin handles this completely differently.
It's most defiantly the launcher i downloaded a Back up of a previous version of the social club and launcher as well as blocked the updates with mc afee (should would on the control panel as well) and it worked no problem i was able to play like it never happened i hope they fix it soon.
@kanadianborn posted a fix, but this is just temporary. GTA 5 and social club games need authentication. You can't play them offline - not permanently. You need a bypass mod (none for Steam) or an emulator. You will have the illusion that your game is fixed permanently because authentication, unlike updates, is not forced and does not happen with every launch. The same principle exists with FiveM and RP - you can defeat online and play offline until R* authenticates.

The difference is, you have to play missions to get to rank 30, its required work, no matter what. With 10 hours, you can easily just do whatever and not actually play, make 20 or so accounts, run the game multiple times and afk them all in social for a night, with LOs banning records of about a month thats nearly a years worth of game play for a single night of effort.
i never really looked at it or noticed it was even there till i started a new game and it said social club content added so I was trying to find out what the hell it added, but i found nothing on that crappy site.
I reloaded my other saved game and all that info goes into social club, so it will display the stats for whatever save you last played. reload your old one and you will have everything back in there again.
