We love God. But do we show it? One of the most beautiful ways of showing our love for God is to attend Mass and receive the Eucharist. As kids, we may sometimes think that Mass is not so much fun. I beg to disagree! There are a lot of fun ways to talk and connect with God during the Mass.
First, we have to focus on the Mass and try our best not to be distracted by other things or thoughts. Remember, we are obliged to attend Mass once a week, for just an hour. So we must direct all our focus and attention to God during that hour.
Second, we should listen to the Bible readings. The Bible readings are actually interesting. We can also get a lot of ideas and lessons just by listening to them.
Finally, we can actively participate in the ceremony by singing the church songs and reciting the prayers. This way, we will feel part of the entire community praising God.
Through this presentation, we hope we can build your interest on the Holy Mass by discussing the Four Ends of the Mass and more ideas to make God the center of our lives. - By BQ

Carlo Acutis
The Teen Tech Who Fell in Love with Jesus in the Eucharist
By G.H.
Carlo Acutis was the first millennial to
be beatified. To be beatified means to be recognized by the Catholic Church that the person who has died is already in Heaven and can definitely be able to plead to God on one’s behalf if he/she prays to him. Beatification is the step right before sainthood.
Who was Carlo Acutis? Carlo was an English-born Italian Catholic youth and amateur computer programmer who was born in London, UK on May 3, 1991. He sadly died on October 12, 2006 due to leukemia; but he didn’t do so without leaving something behind.
Carlo is known throughout the Catholic community for his devotion to the Eucharist, which started at a very young age. Ever since he received his Holy Communion when he was 7, Carlo didn’t miss an appointment with the Holy Mass. Then, when he was 11 years old, he started to assist catechists in the Parish. “He was a very prepared boy; way ahead of other kids his age.” His mother said. During his journey in helping the Parish, his faith only grew deeper. Carlo then had the urge to make a website to document the many miracles about the Eucharist happening around the world. Like it was mentioned, he was a programmer, technology savvy and he used this skill to broaden people’s faith in God. This made some people realize that, yes, the internet can be used for horrible things, but there are people- kids even- who use it creatively and smartly.
Carlo Acutis wasn’t that out of the ordinary, though. He had hangouts with friends, tests in school, and fun in programming, but he always made time for his Creator: God. When his friend’s parents were on the brink of divorce, he comforted them. He always placed the Holy Eucharist at the center of his heart and said it was his ‘highway to Heaven’; and he wasn’t wrong. That highway is available for everyone and anyone at all.
Now, some people may still ask ‘what made him special, though?’. Simple: while he documented miracles happening around him, it is said that he had a miracle himself! A child with a malformed pancreas came in contact with one of his shirts, and was miraculously healed. Until now, friends and family of Carlo Acutis still update his website, which is freely available on the internet at http://www.miracolieucaristici.org/en/liste/list.html . Here, you can find amazing stories and miracles that happened. Here, you could see proof that God does exist.
