Black and White Rewrite is a 5 piece rock band based out of Winnipeg. Taking inspiration fromdecades of punk, emo, pop and hardcore, BWR keep songwriting at the focus of their craft, whileplayfully experimenting with their sound.

Their album Keepsakes was released in 2015, featuring the singles Shut In Shut Out and

Collapse. Since reforming in 2025, the band has been hard at work recording new music andgetting ready for live shows. BWR is excited to share their blend of new and old songs in 2026.

Their journey is marked by a series victories, including:

• !earshot Distro Song of the Day - New single Tokyo Ghost is named the !earshot distro song of the day (Feb 2026) as well as recieving immediate airplay on commercial radio station GoRock, and placement on multiple streaming curator playlists

• The Apricot Tree - Threatre Production which used all music from the album Keepsakes - Winnipeg Fringe Festival (2025)

• Winners, Best Original Song -  Home Studio Recording (2018)
