After Brent passed away, the kids needed a way to feel connected with their father. They wanted to let him know they love him and send him a message about all they've been up to lately. Our first balloon launch was in our front yard just a few weeks after losing their father. This small family gathering was a launching point for our race.
What if we could run for dad, honor dad AND let others send notes to their loved ones?
We ask you to join us....use this race as a Sunday afternoon to spend time with friends, family, and strangers. Remember those who you have lost and the one who died for us on the cross.
In your race packet, you will find a "Note to Heaven" post card. Please jot a note down and we will provide you with a biodegradable balloon to launch your note to Heaven prior to the race.
