You gonna soon be bored by me doing all those blogs LOL. On serious note, Welcome! This blog is written by anvisoreal, the Director and Main Composer for this project. Today we're gonna take a look at our new teaser! Quite a few things changed since the trailer from FUNKCON2, such as the premise of "3 Days of FUNKCON2". As you may know the event got delayed, a lot, so our plan to show bunch of sweet and cool stuff didn't worked out well. But do not fear! Both gameplay showcases of Pico (Kusho Mix) and ??? will be shown... Hey, actually, I think I should introduce you to what it actually is...

Assassin (Revision!)

Remember the survey from a few months ago where we asked a few questions about what you people think about the current state of mod? Yeah, we actually read the results from it, surprising I know. You could already see the results of it in FUNKCON2 trailer where we have shown new sprite for Kusho which works way better for both being opponent (or enemy, hehe) and playable character. But oh 🅱️oi we got a lot more results from it. Many people rightly pointed out that some of the songs currently in mod could use a slight upgrade, especially the ones before Overhaul Update. So guess what...? We're doing more than upgrading songs. I present everyone to new version of Assassin! (proceeds to make the worst screenshot ever, whatever) The new focus is to do... well, revision on all the songs so they fit a bit more with today standards, as a example, ContentLeaf, a talented Voice Actor from FNF Community, is helping us out with new Pico voices for this new version of Assassin. All the songs will have same treatment as Assassin (Revision)

New Stage! (U-cream)

I think it's pretty visible that there's a whole new stage. With combined minds of me and szymibymi the stage got completely redone to different location. I personally thought that too much mods happen on street, which is not an issue but hey, we could change it, now it's more interesting, isn't it? The whole place inside is U-cream, the ice cream shop, run by Überkids in the past, is where most of the new story will take place. The place still runs pretty smoothly with the new management (We love you Larry... I'll tell who's that later!) and atmosphere seems pretty chill. When working on this background we tried our best to get this feeling that the original animation from MindChamber had inside this place. Thankfully with V-Slice shaders and overlays it got to a pretty nice looking point, I love it a lot! Also, take a look at the first sketches of this new background, made by yours truly. Am I proud of them? Not really, Mainly just tried to recreate (poorly) the location inside of it, which was hard since the animation didn't showed much of interior inside. Thankfully MindChamber himself helped a bit on it (more like, gave us a few tips, thanks anyway!!) And here we are with the grand new background!

Hey, you notice the posters in the background? Is that QT from QT: Rewired Friday Night Funkin' Mod IN THE BACKGROUND? YEAH!!! While sketching out the background I thought about one thing that many mods used to do in the past which is putting cameos from other mods to the background, you probably know what I mean. And we could just put those characters in the chairs.........but I didn't, that would be BORING, instead they are... posters with ice cream themed around various FNF projects which not are only mods! Pretty sweet, right? The following projects are:

• Eighter (From Eighter Mixes! By SwayTheDev)

• QT (From QT: Rewired)

• Beta BF (From... Friday Night Funkin'... eh?)

• MRK Mixes (From... well, MRK Mixes, made by MarkedAman)

Are these considered collabs? Nah, not really, more like small easter eggs that you can find in the background if you're chronically online enough. Oh by the way, these all we're designed by me! (with a little help from MarkedAman with MRK Mixes one)

Who the hell is Larry?

You wonder "Hey, who's that white dude in the background behind the counter in U-cream? Where are the Überkids?". Well, answering the second question, they're dead. Pico obviously killed them in the MindChamber's animation, right? So... according to what the man himself told us a new management would take over the place, giving this up to our own interpretation. So I decided that it would be funny if we would put a complete parody character such as... Learned Larry! Learned Larry is a character made in one of the episodes of Slightly Artistic (THE COMIC GAME - SLIGHTLY ARTISTIC). Don't worry, we will kill him later on.

Wow. Accidentally I did the longest blog yet, I'm proud of myself! I hope you enjoyed reading all of that. We got hella lot of progress thought I'm pretty sure this update isn't coming out in this year. This "small" update turned out to be pretty freaking big but I hope to release it in 2027 (gulp!). As the final thing, I think you can take a look at the new Pixel Icons for Kusho made by talented kenton who's our new Pixel Artist.
