We (or rather, I) are very sorry that we haven’t updated our Devlog for so long; in the end, it turned out that we couldn’t wait for the actual new Devlog page, so it was put on hold for a while. However, I finally found the motivation, and we’ve created a new version of the site, still on Google Sites. We’ll try to post cool and interesting things about the mod here much more often, as well as actual updates regarding the future development of the mod itself. I hope you’ll forgive us for this long hiatus! Enjoy this doodle of Kusho I did!

While the Devlog was completely silent, quite a lot happened: The most important development was the release of the “Overhaul Update,” which added a ton of new content and, crucially, a version of the mod for V-Slice. In hindsight, this turned out to be an excellent choice (you know, FNF on mobile). Two other things that happened were... 10,000 downloads on Gamebanana (currently 11,000). I honestly never thought that would happen. Even though that’s not very many compared to other mods today, I’m still very proud of this achievement. I want to thank everyone, both involved in the project and fans of it for making all of it possible! ૮ ྀིᴗ͈ . ᴗ͈ ྀིა

Officially, the Bonus Weekend DLC is part of FUNKCON2, the FNF Direct event taking place on June 26 this year. We’re truly honored to be part of this event alongside other V-Slice mods. At the moment, I can’t reveal too much because I want to keep a few new features as a surprise, but get ready for a lot of visually stunning new content starting June 26. In the meantime, you can follow FUNKCON2 on Twitter and look forward to the big day! >⩊<

PLAYasENEMY – that’s the name of the next two updates, which are actually one update split into two because of its size. I know, it’s crazy. As you might have guessed, the next major mod update will add our favorite alien guy as a playable character—something that’s been in the works since 2024. Seriously—when the mod comes out and people start complaining that we’ve run out of ideas for updates, just tell them we’ve been working on this shit for two years (just kidding, they’d get offended). Even though most of the content won’t be officially revealed until FUNKCON2, I can say this much: the update itself won’t be focused ONLY on Playable Kusho.
I hope that whatever the fuck we are cooking right now you all will enjoy it as much as I and the rest of devs do! After FUNKCON2, I want all the teasers to appear a little more frequently than they have so far.

As mentioned above, the main part of the update will be Kusho as a playable character along with his campaign, but that’s not all. This is related to the survey from which we gathered ideas on what can be done or changed. We’re excited to show you what it’s all about soon! With all that said I can tell you will get a good amount of content!

I'd say that we're having a good progress right now but I cannot tell more, I don't want the mod to feel like a job for others because that's not the case definitely so I'd rather have it a bit slower. The main focus right now is FUNKCON2 so it really depends. It's definitely gonna be 2026-2027 but other than that? I cannot tell much as for now. We're slowly getting there but not quite close yet.
