Graduation requirements for Pleasanton High School provide each student with a solid background in the core curriculum areas along with an intensive study in several critical subjects in order to more thoroughly prepare each student for the future after high school.

Requirements for graduation from Pleasanton High School are listed below: They are also listed on page 12 of the Pleasanton Student Handbook

Total Credits need to be 250 from these areas - 

English - 40

Social Studies - 40

Science - 30

Math - 30 (should have 40 to attend a 4 year school)

Personal Finance (Senior Year) - 10

Fine/Visual Arts - 10

Physical Education/Health (Freshman Year) - 10

Computer Science (Freshman Year) - 10

Elective Credits - 70+
